Have I told you that I love to read? Have I told you that I could spend hours deliberately losing myself in the maze of volumes of books in the friendly neighbourhood library? Have I told you that I skip meals when i'm wrapped up with a good book? Have I told you that Wan had once hid my book because I'd rather have my nose in a book then have it in his face?

No? Well, now you know.

And that explains why i went gaga at Singapore Expo Hall 6B today. Nope, it was not that lousy, losing-it's-novelty-Robinson's-warehouse-sale which puts Singaporeans in a sale-frenzied and greedy state, foolishly spending their moolahs on stuff they don't even need. It was the madness that went on in the hall next to it.

I went freakishly nuts at the sight of books placed neatly in stacks in the hall that held the MPH warehouse sale. While Wan was slaving away at work, i was happily browsing, choosing, selecting and scouring the place for good titles. I have a feeling Wan was secretly relieved that he was on duty this afternoon. He abhors shopping. Wan doesnt have the patience to hang around and wait for fickle me as i take the longest time to come to a decision.

I was a little displeased with the prices though. They used to have warehouse sales with books going at 3 for $10. But this time, books were individually priced with paperbacks going at a minimum of $5. That actually shrank my budget. Gosh, i spent close to a 100 buckeroos on more than 14 books. What was i tinking? Starting a mini library? Well, i could read these books over and over again (this is just an attempt to console myself). Heh.

These LOTR trilogy were everywhere and they costs $5 per book! Grabbed new looking ones for my LOTR fanatic brother.


I found the sequel to Flowers In The Attic by VC Andrews! All 4 of them! Apa lagi, i cekup semua cepat2! Kan-cheong lah katakan!


Bought this for Wan at such a cheap price (semasa menjalankan tugas, sempat pulak kau kirim buku eh wan...!)




Oh gosh, i'm pooped. Why wouldnt i? I spent a total of 6 hours in that damn hall. 6! Am going to get a little R&R and start reading one of those paperbacks before i hit the sack. Now, which one should i start with?

Oh, by the way, i found this book while trawling around earlier. Hehe... very erm.. how should i say, educational for couples. Heh.
