My manic birthday weekend

I hadn't expected Wan to appear on my doorstep with a birthday cake. Chocolate cake with strawberries.. yummy.. So we cut the cake and managed to take a few shots of me and the cake as well as a video of me cutting the cake. Wan was singing a birthday song in the background. Although it sounded a little awful, i smoothered my giggles and concentrated on cutting the cake.
It was such a hot day, my birthday. Earlier, a friend called both me and wan with some distressing news and it got me all upset. Arrghh! I don't understand men ya know. How could they say they love us one day and leave the next? Met that friend a little while before heading off to town. Gave her (and wan too) a piece of my mind about issues on matters of the heart. And just before that, my good friend san called, exclaiming frantically that she was about to give birth! WHICH happened to be a false alarm afterall.. Shesshhhh.. I thought i could have a cute little baby to share my birthday with.

Scoured the entire Orchard Road for Haagen Daaz on that blisteringly hot saturday afternoon. Had seen this fondue somewhere had really wanted to try those. Oh well, we went the next day and it wasnt that great. Nope. Infact it wasnt at all. For $15.90 we had a couple of measly looking ice cream cubes, a tiny plate of fruits, chopped almonds and a small bowl of hot choc, above a burning flame (see below). Ok, granted, the Belgian choc fudge was delicious, but it didn't satisfy us chocolate lovers! What crap!

Meanwhile, right before our disappointing fondue discovery, I went to two ex classmates wedding, Zul & Sani. And again, I am complaining about the weather. It was a hot hot hot day but it was worth it! Didnt expect Zul to settle down before me! haha! But he did and he looked smart in his blue songket, with his bride at his side ;)

Next, off to Sani's ceremony at Eunos. The bridal couple were eating their royal lunch when we arrived. I have never seen such a good looking couple. They looked so compatible! Couldnt help but stare at the gorgeous bride. Loved her hairdo! And those glitters on her eyes!

Az brought little Effa along, who happened to be the star attraction of the day. tee hee... Macam nak gigit pipi dia! I amused myself with that little cherub and goofy smiles. Doncha just love babies?

Managed to squeeze ourselves on the wedding dais for a memorable picture with the lovely bride and groom. And alas, one final shot of the beautiful bride. Congratulations to the bridal couples and adieu!
