The course of true love never did run smooth

Yes,quoting from the Shakespearean play The Midsummer Night's Dream. Had wanted to give up on tv after watching nip/tuck but Channel 5 decided to make me stay awake longer by showing the play cum movie (watever you call it) after that.

I loved that play! I studied the play for O Level's literature and practically remembered every single line. It's one of Shakespeare's funniest play. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loikeeee...

Suddenly, all the lines came rolling back to me.. Helena sighed, "We (women) should be wooed. And not made to woo" How true.. looking at how desperate girls are these days. twas as if Shakespeare could predict how shameless women today can get from way back during his time. If you remember the play, the duel between the lovers in the woods was the best part for me. Shakespearean catfights are the most cultured catfights ever.. hehee.. the confusion, the madness, the insult. Thou painted maypole! Thou juggler, thou cankerblossom! Hahaahh.. almost said those words earlier, in modern day context of course, to a certain someone whom i really think deserve it.

But the theme of the play is about LOVE.... True love, young love, matured love, infatuations and unrequited love. yes, love... but I'm not in the mood for love.

Because the course of true love never did run smooth...
